Director at HOFT Institute,
Audrey Townend is a Director at the HOFT Institute in Austin, Texas and a global ambassador. Her studies highlight political systems and trade policy. Audrey recently returned from a four-month study in Meknes, Morocco, where she intensively studied Islamic Civilizations, local dialect (Darija-Arabic), culture, arts and Islamic dynasties full-time. As a former Certifications Trade Officer with the National Arab-U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., she certified commercial and legal documents en route to Arab League members.
Currently, Audrey is assessing new vocational and re-accredited courses and will incorporate a “Cyber Security” course for business leaders, entrepreneurs and students. Her work extends to participating in Global Thinkers’ Telemachus Mentorship Program, mentoring a law graduate in pursuit of stakeholder/policy connectivity and communications. Additionally, she is leading a semester-long workshop series on “Artificial Intelligence: Emerging Technologies” with St. Edward’s University faculty for over 700 undergraduate students, in Austin, Texas. Audrey values the cornerstones of education and cultural awareness in her professional and personal ambitions.
