Educational consultant and lead trainer for curriculum and professional development
Carolyne Creel is a retired educator who is currently an educational consultant specializing inleadership, curriculum design and classroom pedagogy. Upon her retirement from public education in 2015 as the Acting Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Professional Development in the Fort Worth Independent School District, she began to fulfill her passion for learning from and about cultures around the world. She leads professional learning for teachers, professors and administrators using the latest research-based classroom techniques designed to energize classrooms and create a desire for life-long learning.
As a representative of the University of Texas Global Initiative (UTGI), Carolyne has presented leadership, communication skills, curriculum design and classroom pedagogy at several major conferences and institutes both at the University of Texas and throughout the middle east. Among the most recent are a two-week institute at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon; the Center for Learning Innovations and Customized Knowledge Solutions (CLICKS) in Dubai; and, most recently, a three-day institute at Fatima Jinnah Women’s University in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan.
Carolyne believes that by celebrating our commonalities and respecting our uniqueness we will ignite a passion for learning in every student.
