Hanna Kristín founded the early education company Mimi Creations. The company specialises in the production and publishing of animated material to enhance and improve the development of speech and communication for all toddlers. Since 2013, Mimi Creations have published 7 books about the character Mimi and his friends and are distributed in 5 countries and the project has been translated in 3 languages. Mimi is an animated creature that uses baby keyword signing to help young children enhance their speech.

Hanna Kristin has given seminars and lectures in the US and Europe on her methodology with Mimi Creations. Moving towards animation and social entertainment, using technology for enhancement, Hanna Kristín wants to bring people closer together. Research shows that key word signing enhances the development of speech for all, especially those in need of assistance. Daily reaching thousands of children in Iceland, Mimi Creations wants to branch out and see Mimi among millions of children globally.

Hanna holds a MSc in Finance and Auditing, Bachelors in business administration and studied developmental psychology and linguistics at Stanford University. Ms. Kristin additionally did classical ballet in her earlier years. She is on the board of advisors for several startup companies alongside holding board member position at a diverse set of companies and foundations. Hanna Kristín also serves as the Chairman of Iceland for the Gava Project a charity foundation that operates in Uganda
